I can't agree with you blaming the whole java ecosystem for one bad library/framework you came across - Lambok. Then, Spring and Spring Boot. Yes, java has been here so long, and it sounds boring seeing Java everyday.

For those prototype coders and startups, Java won't be the choice given the learning curve and boilerplate code (getters/setters). But, when your organization grow bigger, the manageability, tooling support, flexibility (for those who know Java in depth) and consistency offered by Java is still unmatched.

You should probably rename your title to "Why Spring and Lambok are dying/a mess". And pray Java will die before you and me!
